It is our hope you find Arizona wine to be as fascinating as we have. Maps in the book clearly show the featured locations. Our Verde Valley region has been referred to as the next Napa Valley. Our Willcox mountains and vineyards resemble those of Argentina. The wines from our Sonoita region have been served in the White House at least four times. Arizona’s metro areas have urban tasting rooms featuring Arizona wine. There are also outlier regions that go where no winemaker has gone before –truly pioneers in the industry. Our winemakers come from all walks of life with diverse backgrounds including an indie rock star, a Hollywood director, Fortune 500 executives, farmers, bankers, attorneys … you name it… the common element is their passion for Arizona wine.
